Studied and graduated at Friedrich Alexander University Erlangen / Nuremberg, Germany in business administration M.B.A, with a focus on corporate management.

Entry into the family-owned business, manufacturer of tool machines, Gebrüder Boehringer GmbH (GBG)in Goeppingen, Germany, as assistant to the board of directors.

Commercial assistance during the takeover of GBG by Oerlikon Bührle AG Zurich Switzerland.

Entry as partner in the engineering company with today’s name Boehringer International Developments (BID), with focus on the integration of German, European and international suppliers into the German automotive industry.

1985 Foundation of Berger Boehringer & Partner GmbH as a 100% subsidiary of BID.

2001 Foundation of the Global Allianz Automotive (GAA) as an international network of similar companies to follow the worldwide automotive industry in parallel with globalization and internationalization.

2018 Expansion of the business area of the GAA to support international start-up companies primarily in the automotive cluster.

Sinologist, Foreign Trade Specialist and Manager having studied at the Universities of Tuebingen and Bonn, Germany as well as one of the first German scholar ship holders at Beijing University, China

1979 entrance into the Mercedes Benz Automotive Sales and Marketing Division of Daimler AG in 1979 for building up the automotive business in China as one of the pioneers after the Opening of the PR China to the West.

In addition, she worked as an advisor to state and business institutions for the development of German-Chinese economic relations.

During her long time career as Senior Executive in the worldwide MB Automotive Sales and Marketing, she led international and interdisciplinary teams from various countries to develop and implement market and customer-related strategies.

Since 2009 she provides expertise and experience with the “China Partners Institute” to German and Chinese companies for the development of business relationships.

Since 2020 she is also a leading member of the commission “New Silkroad” within the Federal Association for Economic Development and Foreign Trade (BWA), Germany.

Since 1985 internationally active in top management of companies from Germany (Traub AG, Index-Werke), Japan (Yamazaki Mazak) and China. Since 2006 living in China and working as consultant of Chairman at state owned enterprises (Index-Dalian und Shenyang Machine Tool Group)

2017 – 2019 Chairman of CMAG – Corporate Members Advisory Group at CIRP – International Academy for Production Engineering.

Since 2021 working as Industrial Development Consultant at QIAP – Qingdao International Academician Park in the province Shandong, China.

It is an institution with a unique Eco-System for promoting academicians from all over the world from their first innovative idea to business success.

Holding several honorations in China, last was „Friendship Award“ of the Central Government, which is the highest award for a foreigner.
